1. Webpages

A webpage is created and edited as a simple text character chain and it could be as large as you want. Next, we will show you some useful example of text page:

* Privacy Policy: If your customers have to enter their personal details to buy something, you should include a privacy policy page including the official terms of your company about the customers’ data.

* FAQ about shipping: Your customers may want to know if the products will be sent to their homes and how much it would be. They could also be interested in knowing to what countries you ship and if it is more expensive and how much.

2. Blogs

Blog are used to communicate with your customers. You can upload your blog anytime you want to. It could be useful to use “Home” as a blog to inform your customers about new offers, new products, etc. These are some of the possibilities a blog offers you:

* Company blog: If you believe that sharing information with your customers about your company is important, you could let one of you workers post that information. Let's pretend one of your workers is a software maniac, what would be better for keeping your customers excited about the features and functions of a product than letting that worker write about it?

* Tour journal: a band selling its musical work or merchandising could share news and keep the fans updated while on tour.

* Wine shop profiles: Perhaps you are on charge of a wine shop selling wines from many wine cellars. Why not focussing the blog on explaining the history and characteristics of them day by day?

3. Comments

They enable you to interact with your customers. Every time you publish a new post, they can post comments about it. It is a pretty good way to know more about them and their Settings and also to share ideas. Here you have some ideas to interact with your customers in your store:

* News: Share with everyone you have a blog to show your new products. This way your customers will be able to express their opinion about these products and tell you what else they would like to see in your store.

* Staff members’ blog: If you believe in sharing information about your store you could let some of the members of your staff post on a blog. These workers could allow also comments in their posts.

4. Contents edition

Tiendy uses a simple HTML editing system that will allow you edit the text of your pages. When you edit any of your websites of blogs, the help bar located on the upper part of the textbox shows you some of the most common functions/tools and themes. For example, there is a very interesting tool/function that consists of adding a picture after a text. To do that, we have to move the cursor to the spot we want to add the picture and click “Add/ Edit picture” from the help bar (located on the editing box from the content). Then, a box opens and you should insert the full direction of the picture (for example, http://www.Tiendy.com) on the “URL of the picture”. You can edit all the details of the picture (alignment, border, etc.) by using the option of this box.

5. Show webpages and blogs (Structure section on the control panel)

Your customers need to see your text pages or blogs somehow. The easiest way to show them is to link them from the add link tab of any of the existing link lists on the Structure section of the control panel (Home, Footer or other). Like this, any previously created text page or blog could be seen in your public website. If not, it would be only seen by you and will remain hidden for the rest.

If you eliminate a webpage or a blog, Tiendy will automatically erase any link to it.

6. Links

Creating links is a very important option of the Tiendy content editing system and deserves to be explained in detail. The easiest way to create links in your store is to add the corresponding link to the category, webpage or blog you want in the Structure menu of the control panel.

However, we know that you sometimes want to link a word to a category, web or blog without using the option adding links in the Structure section. In this case, the process is very easy: you just have to mark with your mouse the word or sentence you want to link and select the “Add/Edit link” option on the help bar located on the content edition textbox. Then, a box will open and you will have to include the full URL of what you want to link and click on “Add”. For example:

 URL del hipervínculo: http://www.tiendy.com

This way we will link the Tiendy website to the word we chose.
